Harnessing a Hybrid Working Model | Useful Resources
According to Forbes, one third of HR leaders expect at least 40% of their staff to work primarily from home post-pandemic.
However, others warn that companies may regret jumping on the remote working bandwagon due to the potential impact on the quality of teamwork and collaboration. Some even argue that any perceived increase in productivity/performance that may result from flexible working is likely to be exaggerated due to companies’ difficult financial circumstances brought on by the pandemic.

Watch the Business Leaders Intentions for Hybrid Working - Survey Results
We surveyed 528 business leaders responsible for making people management decisions to find out more about their intentions for hybrid working and how they believe this might impact their organisation.
We asked about:
- Consulting with employees
- The impact on recruitment
- Fears for productivity levels
- How a hybrid approach will work in practice
- Support from senior teams
Findings indicate that almost half (46%) of businesses are still undecided about how exactly they will coordinate hybrid working, and almost one in five have not consulted their staff about changes, potentially exposing them to employee disputes and legal issues.
In the video, Director of HR Consultancy Stephanie Robinson presents the findings and shares her thoughts on what they mean for businesses considering a more flexible model.
