Mental Health Awareness at Work Training
Managers often feel ill-equipped to address mental health issues, with only 24% having received training in this area. This can lead them to avoid these discussions, often resulting in employees not receiving the support they need.
Our Managing Mental Health at Work training course aims to develop managers’ knowledge and confidence, putting them in a stronger position to open up supportive conversations with staff so that they can better understand their needs and help them to fulfil their potential.

Who should attend?
This course will be useful to anyone involved in managing people, including those with HR responsibilities.
Who will deliver the training?
Our management training is delivered by highly experienced and qualified HR practitioners with genuine ‘hands-on’ practical experience of supporting employers all over the UK with their HR requirements.
What are the benefits?
Delegates will feel more confident and capable in dealing with matters related to mental ill health and will be better equipped to manage employees who are experiencing mental health issues. This includes how to prevent, detect and address cases.
Crucially, from a risk management perspective, delegates will understand the risks related to disability discrimination, learn how to identify ‘red flags’, and appreciate the importance of seeking help.
