WorkNest Launches SafetyNest to Help Businesses Mitigate Rising Health and Safety Penalties for Non-Compliance

According to the Health and Safety Executive’s (HSE) annual statistics, there were 123 work-related fatalities between April 2021 and March 2022. In addition, the HSE issued £26.9 million in fines to duty holders found guilty of health and safety offences in 2020/21, and the average penalty has risen from £107,000 in 2020 to £145,000 in 2021 – an increase of 35%.
