NATIONAL SICKIE DAY | What can you do as an employer?

Today is National Sickie Day. 

Why, you may ask? Itโ€™s because the first Monday of February is traditionally considered the day when employees, in their droves, pull a sickie.

According to the Employment Law Associationโ€™s estimates, 350,000 people will have called in sick today. This costs up to ยฃ45m to the UK economy due to wages, lost hours and overtime.
