Colleague Spotlight
Rob Evans, HR Consultant
Hi, I’m Rob. I’m an MCIPD-qualified HR professional with 25 years’ experience in the retail, wholesale, healthcare and not for profit sectors.
Now working as an HR Consultant within WorkNest’s HR Consulting Team, I primarily provide support to charities, not for profit organisations and local parish and town councils, though I also work with some private sector clients.
I support my clients in all areas of HR, but in particular at a strategic and operational level, where I partner with CEOs, Board members, Chairs and Senior Managers in areas such as organisational development, staff restructuring, training, development and coaching, performance management and formal grievance and disciplinary processes.
Prior to joining WorkNest (formerly HR Services Partnership), I worked in Regional Operational and HR Manager roles in retail, wholesale, dental corporate and corporate healthcare organisations.
I really enjoy forming high-quality and long-term working relationships with my clients and engaging fully with them as an integral part of their team. I also enjoy helping line managers to learn and develop their people management abilities and seeing them grow their skills in this area.
I’m very team-focused and enjoy collaborating with my colleagues on work-related challenges, learning from them and sharing my experiences too, all of which benefits our clients.

We moved our legal support to WorkNest (formerly Law at Work) having previously used a time and line law firm. It was important, though, that an all-inclusive fee structure did not come at the expense of quality. Thankfully we’ve been delighted with the service we’ve received from WorkNest.”
