David Mitchell, Trainee Employment Solicitor

David completed his LLB Honours and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Aberdeen. Prior to returning to full-time study as a mature student, for around 22 years David worked in a variety of roles in both the private and public sector, gaining valuable skills in a diverse range of roles and levels of responsibility. 

During his studies, David was employed as a Tutor at the University of Aberdeen, taking tutorials for first and second-year LLB students in subjects such as Administrative Law, Human Rights, Civil Liberties and UK Constitutional Law at the Law School. He developed a keen interest in employment law, particularly during his DPLP studies. 

As a trainee solicitor, he is looking forward to getting to know WorkNest’s clients and utilising both the knowledge he has gained throughout his studies and his experience over more than two decades in the world of work to advise them on their employment issues.
