ASVA partners with WorkNest to provide Employment Law, HR and Health & Safety advice to its members
Written on 23 June, 2023
WorkNest is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions (ASVA), the representative body for the Visitor Attractions Sector in Scotland.
Through this new alliance, over 280 ASVA membership organisations, representing more than 500 individual sites across the country, will be able to access a free confidential call or email for employment law or health & safety advice from our specialist teams.
Whether facing an immediate issue or needing the reassurance of an expert opinion, the ability to discuss matters with an experienced professional will save valuable time and frustration and enable ASVA members to operate with the confidence that they are acting in accordance with the law. As an extension of the partnership, if ASVA members require more hands-on support beyond an initial call, they can access a highly preferential fixed-fee rate for unlimited personalised support.
Following a period of exceptional growth over the last 24 months, fuelled by the acquisition of several leading business services groups, WorkNest currently supports over 40,000 UK employers with some of their most sensitive employment, safety, and wellbeing issues. Employing 500 people including more than 75 qualified employment law solicitors, 45 qualified HR consultants and over 50 qualified health & safety consultants, WorkNest has an acute understanding of the risk management and compliance challenges present within the attractions sector environment.
ASVA counts several of Scotland’s most popular visitor attractions among its members including Edinburgh Castle, National Museum of Scotland and Scottish National Gallery, and serves to connect the attractions sector together providing advice, information, statistics, networking and training to help drive forward quality within the industry and support its members in their aspirations.
Gordon Morrison, CEO of ASVA said: “This partnership complements the wider value we offer to the member organisations that we support. Having access to the right legal advice on employment matters and professional support on keeping staff and visitors to our attractions safe is crucial. Having professional guidance on hand means our members can spend more time on their businesses.”
John Gillespie, Key Account Manager at WorkNest, added: “We’re thrilled to be working with ASVA to provide professional employment law, HR and health & safety advice to its members. With our depth of knowledge, ASVA members can be confident that support is there when people management or safety concerns arise. We encourage employers to take up the free advice we can offer at an early stage, as they will then be in a better position to achieve the best possible resolution and prevent any matters from escalating.”
