Overview

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has released its updated Local Authority Circular (LAC 67/2), revealing its key priorities for 2025/26.

Rather than routine inspections, the regulator has identified several specific risks and issues that all local authorities should focus on, including:

  • Occupational lung disease
  • Legionella control
  • Work-related stress
  • Violence and aggression
  • Musculoskeletal disorders
  • Noise in the workplace
  • Planned preventative maintenance

This free 60-minute session will take a closer look at these high-priority areas and outline the steps businesses can take to proactively manage risks, ensure compliance, and avoid unwanted enforcement attention.
